This notice explains how personal information is handled in connection with parking in the Manzini CBD and this website, under the Eswatini Data Protection Act, 2022.
What we collect
- Reports and disputes — the details you submit on the report form, including your name, phone number, and vehicle registration if you provide it. A vehicle registration number is personal information and is treated as such.
- Parking records — tickets and penalty notices created in the course of the service.
- Website analytics — anonymous, aggregated visit counts. This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
To run the parking service under the Bye-Laws, to handle your reports and disputes, to meet legal obligations, and to improve the service.
Who we share it with
The Municipal Council of Manzini where the service or the law requires it; no one else, and never for marketing.
Your rights
The Data Protection Act, 2022 gives you rights over your personal information, including access and correction. To exercise them, use the report form and choose “A personal data request”. You may also complain to the data protection authority.
